The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) Intramural Research Program (IRP) in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is recruiting a tenure-track/tenure-eligible Investigator (High Scarcity) in the Dermatology Branch (DB) on the NIH main campus in Bethesda, Maryland.

NIAMS Leadership oversees an extensive portfolio of basic and applied research.

Centers grants are designed to support shared resources and/or multidisciplinary research teams. NIAMS supports Resource-based Centers, Core Centers for Clinical Research (CCCR), Centers of Research Translation (CORT) and the Wellstone Muscular Dystrophy Research Network.

OD determines Institute programs, plans, and policies and provides management, program analysis, and scientific program reporting services to the Institute, as well as scientific leadership, policy guidance, and overall operational and administrative coordination. NIAMS Grant Management Specialists manage and coordinate grants portfolios and are responsible for fiscal, business management, and administrative issues relating to specific grants and grant programs, federal regulations, and NIH policies.
