Summary
Leslie Littlejohn is a Senior Grants Management Specialist (GMS) within the Grants Management Branch (GMB). In this role, she independently manages a complex research grant portfolio of over 150 grants comprised of various mechanisms, including clinical trials, SBIR/STTR, cooperative agreements, inter-agency agreements, large center grants, and highly technical special projects. She also serves as a subject matter expert and liaison for NIAMS on various committees, such as the NIH UNITE Initiative.
Ms. Littlejohn joined NIAMS in 2008 as a GMS. Prior to joining NIAMS, she served in various capacities for over 35 years at the NIH, including as a Program Analyst at the National Cancer Institute, and Quality Control Specialist with the Division of Extramural Activities Support (DEAS).
Ms. Littlejohn received a B.S. in Information Systems Management and an M.S. in Financial Management from the University of Maryland University College.
Her commitment and resolve have been recognized over the years by her many awards and accolades, including serving as Acting Deputy Chief Grants Management Specialist.
