Summary
Dr. Lee is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in skeletal biology and rare bone disease. She previously studied craniofacial bone defects at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR). Her current research focuses on the molecular drivers of melorheostosis and how disease-associated mutations affect osteogenic differentiation and bone formation.
Using stem cell–based systems, molecular and cellular approaches, and in vivo mouse models, Dr. Lee investigates the functional consequences of pathogenic mutations in bone development and repair. Her work aims to advance understanding of skeletal disease mechanisms and inform future therapeutic strategies.
