The Cartilage and Connective Tissue program supports studies of:
- Biology of articular cartilage, tendons, ligaments, menisci, and intervertebral discs and preclinical studies on injuries and disease conditions affecting these tissues.
- Patterning and morphogenesis of bones and joints.
- Organization of growth plate and regulation of chondrocyte differentiation.
- Pathophysiology of osteoarthritis including biomarkers of osteoarthritis.
