Cartilage and Connective Tissue Program

The Cartilage and Connective Tissue program supports studies of:

• Biology of articular cartilage, tendons, ligaments, menisci, and intervertebral discs and preclinical studies on injuries and disease conditions affecting these tissues.
• Patterning and morphogenesis of bones and joints.
• Organization of growth plate and regulation of chondrocyte differentiation.
• Pathophysiology of osteoarthritis including biomarkers of osteoarthritis.
