Overview
The NIAMS Board of Scientific Counselors (BSC) regularly reviews the Institute’s Intramural Research Program, in compliance with NIH guidelines. The BSC advises the NIAMS Scientific and Clinical Directors on the quality, productivity, and impact of the intramural research they oversee. NIAMS BSC reviews are typically conducted at an annual closed meeting with each program reviewed approximately every four years.
