Clare Grady, M.D., works in the NIAMS Systemic Autoimmunity Branch under Dr. Kaplan, investigating the pathophysiology of facet joint osteoarthritis in the lumbar spine.

Jordan Reaves is a Duke University graduate and a post-bac in Dr. Mariana Kaplan's lab at the NIAMS. He studies the molecular mechanisms behind co-occurring systemic autoimmune diseases.

Michelle is an IRTA fellow at the National Institute of Arthritis, Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases. She provides longitudinal care to patients from marginalized communities with rheumatologic conditions and focuses on social-health research.

Saagar Shah graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s in biomedical sciences. As a postbac fellow in the Brownell lab, he studies neuroendocrine Merkel cells.

Sreenidhi Sankararaman is a postbaccalaureate IRTA fellow under the Grayson Lab at NIAMS studying biological therapies for rare autoimmune vasculitis. Her research focuses on comparing the ideal patient demographics for these therapies.

Devika specializes in spondyloarthritis. She collaborates with patients to collect specimens, interpret clinical data, and coordinate research efforts aimed at improving the understanding and treatment of the disease.

Dr. Eman Bamashmous is a board-certified pediatrician and a pediatric rheumatology fellow at NIAMS, focusing on juvenile spondyloarthritis clinical studies. Her work includes applying bedside QST to assess pain phenotyping.

Isabelle Staco is a postbac research fellow in the Kong Lab. Her research focuses on characterizing skin microbial communities and studying the complex interaction between microbes, homeostasis, and disease in various types of skin sites.

Fiona Shao is a postbac researcher in Dr. Vittorio Sartorelli’s lab at NIAMS. She studies the effect of muscle injury on the activation of quiescent muscle stem cells (MuSCs). Her research focuses on gene regulation during the activation of MuSC cells.

Dayoung Sung, Ph.D., investigates interactions between the host immune system and skin microbiome by integrating -omics data to elucidate the mechanisms underlying skin disorders.

Nitin Sreekumar serves as a postbac in Dr. Luis Franco’s lab at NIAMS. His research combines computational methods with experimental work to investigate immunological pathways in various diseases.

Dr. Csomos investigates how genetic and environmental factors influence immune function in autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases to identify the drivers of immune dysregulation and enhance patient care.

Aditi’s research utilizes bioinformatics techniques to investigate genetic variants associated with Still’s disease. She also analyzes single-cell RNA-seq data to study disease-associated patterns, particularly of neutrophils.
