Summary

Ms. Khan is the Clinical Research Manager Team Lead. She is the point of contact for all administrative aspects of NIAMS extramural clinical trials, including operational management, oversight, and implementation of policies related to human subjects and clinical research. Ms. Khan works closely with NIAMS leadership, extramural program directors, and investigators to ensure the Institute’s 60+ trials adhere to the highest standards of safety, scientific rigor, and ethical conduct.

She has held this position since February 2007. She supervises three employees on the Clinical Management Team and serves as the Contracting Officer’s Representative for a multimillion-dollar NIAMS Clinical Research Management and Support contract.

Prior to joining NIAMS, Ms. Khan served in various research-related roles at The George Washington University.
