Helen Lin, Ph.D., is the scientific review officer of the NIAMS Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (AMS) review committee. In addition, she serves as a Receipt and Referral liaison for the institution. Before joining NIAMS, Dr. Lin was a sr. scientist/scientific director at a biotech company Stemron involved in embryonic stem cell research. Dr. Lin obtained her Ph.D. in molecular biology from Medical College of Virginia. She then performed her postdoctoral fellowship in the Cardiology Branch of National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute where her research interests were in the areas of muscle protein biology.
