Currently, I am appointed as a Full Professor and Chair of the Department of Periodontics and Prosthodontics at the State University of Campinas, Piracicaba Dental School, Brazil (FOP/Unicamp); where I am actively engaged in teaching (clinical and didactic), research and mentoring of undergraduate, MS and PhD students. My research focus in periodontal/bone regeneration spans from mechanistic, molecular investigations to translational studies using animal models to clinical trials
