Elizabeth graduated from Binghamton University (State University of New York) in 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology. She joined the Laboratory of Muscle Stem Cells and Gene Regulation as a Postbaccalaureate research fellow in the summer of 2018.
Elizabeth assists with research relating to the mechanisms of muscle repair and regeneration following injury. Her role involves the isolation of satellite stem cells from murine skeletal muscle fibers and the study of these cells and their role in the muscle regeneration process. The goal of this research is to make developments toward new therapies for skeletal muscle diseases.
