Formed in 2005, the NIH AI/AN Health Communications and Information Work Group provides a forum for health education and communications staff from National Institutes of Health (NIH) Institutes, Centers, and Offices to share strategies and effective communication approaches to develop and disseminate health information to American Indian and Alaska Native communities.

Outreach

Honoring Health: Resources for American Indians and Alaska Natives is an e-newsletter that features different health topics and highlights resources, events, training, and grants and funding opportunities. It is produced by the National Institutes of Health in collaboration with the Indian Health Service, and the Administration for Community Living’s Administration on Aging.
