These resources provide information on managing conditions of the bones, joints, muscles, skin, and pain.
A Year of Health planners offer monthly reminders on how to improve your health and manage conditions of the bones, joints, muscles, skin, and pain.
Additional health resources are available for you and your family from other Federal agencies.
Diseases and conditions of the bones, joints, muscles, and skin can affect people in certain racial or cultural groups more than in others. If people in these racial or cultural groups also have less access to reliable health information, it can be difficult to prevent or manage their conditions. The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, part of the National Institutes of Health, launched the National Multicultural Outreach Initiative to address some of these issues.
The NIAMS works with national partners to distribute culturally appropriate health messages for underserved populations to inform them about science-based health materials and resources. This information about bones, joints, muscles, skin, and pain is available for patients, family members, and health professionals.
