NCRR Announces Administrative Supplements for Core Consolidation
Trans-NIH effort is new Recovery Act funding opportunity
November 12, 2009
Application Due Date: January 13, 2010
The National Center for Research Resources, in partnership with NIAMS and other NIH Institutes and Centers, announces a one-time opportunity to apply for administrative supplements to consolidate multiple core facilities into a single, more efficient core. The related funding notice, NOT-RR-10-001, including the list of NIH participants, can be accessed at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-RR-10-001.html.
Approximately $15 million will be made available for these supplements through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Consistent with the intent of the Recovery Act, the purpose of this NIH funding is to promote job creation and economic development along with accelerating the pace and achievement of scientific research.
